Features:

™ Dow Ultrafiltration (UF) membrane modules are made from high mechanical strength PVDF
hollow fiber membranes. These modules offer outstanding performance and industry
leading membrane area. These modules have the following attributes and
features:
• 0.03 μm nominal pore size for removal of bacteria, viruses and particles
Includes colloids to protect downstream processes such as RO
• PVDF polymer hollow fibers with high mechanical strength and high chemical
resistance, providing long membrane life and reliable operation.
• Hydrophilic PVDF fibers, easy to clean and wet, help maintain long-term
performance
• Outside-In flow configuration allows for a wide range of solids in the feedwater
Minimizes the need for pre-treatment processes and reduces backwashing
Volume vs. Inside-Out configuration U-PVC housing, helps
eliminate the need for expensive pressure vessels
For smaller systems, the shorter length 2860 is recommended and
building height is a concern. The 2880 with the same membrane area
footprint offers a more economical design.
Dow ultrafiltration modules can be used in a variety of treatment applications such as surface water, seawater, and industrial and municipal wastewater
