The Ionpure® LX-Z IP-LXM18Z is a Continuous Electrodeionization (CEDI) membrane stack manufactured by Xylem (under its Evoqua brand, formerly Siemens Ionpure). It's engineered for high-purity water production in demanding industrial applications
The Ionpure CEDI LX-Z IP-LXM18Z-5 is an industrial-grade electrodeionization module engineered to deliver ultrapure water with resistivity up to seventeen megohm-centimeters without chemical regeneration. Utilizing Ionpure's patented continuous electro-deionization (CEDI) technology, it replaces conventional mixed-bed ion exchange systems, offering zero chemical consumption, minimal operational costs, and uninterrupted twenty-four-hour operation for critical industrial processes.
- Chemical-Free Operation: Eliminates acid/alkali consumption and neutralization systems, reducing hazardous waste and operational costs by over sixty percent compared to traditional ion exchange.
- High-Efficiency Performance: Ninety to ninety-five percent recovery rate minimizes wastewater generation. Silica removal efficiency: ninety to ninety-nine percent (dependent on feed conditions).
- Robust Engineering: Dual O-ring seals guarantee leak-free operation at pressures up to seven bar (one hundred psi). Enhanced electrical insulation prevents current leakage.
- Plug-and-Play Integration: Pre-installed junction box and standardized CPVC spacers enable rapid deployment in new or retrofit systems.
CE mark certification, each module is strictly tested before leaving the factory to meet the high standards of the industry and is manufactured under the conditions of complying with ISO 9001 and ISO 14000 quality and environmental management system standards.
The module should be installed indoors, away from direct sunlight, and ensure that the ambient temperature does not exceed 113°F (45°C) to ensure its stable and efficient operation. This can effectively extend the service life of the module while ensuring the stability and reliability of the water quality.
